They are two;

ACR urine test- (albumin-to-creatinine ratio) A doctor urine will be tested for albumin protein. urine is used to excrete waste products. If albumin protein is present in the urine, then your kidneys are not filtering blood effectively. This is a  sign of kidney diseases/infection.

GFR blood test- A doctor tests for creatinine. creatinine is a waste product from muscle tissue. infected kidneys have difficulty removing creatinine from blood. The doctor uses the results obtained to formulate the glomerular filtration rate which is an illustration of kidney performance.

Kidney Vitamins

Kidney patients have specific vitamin requirements for optimum functioning of the kidney. They require vitamin A, however, too much can lead to toxicity. They need limited amounts vitamins B from fruits because of high potassium levels present.

vitamin E is also retained in kidney patients due to its role in immune response.

vitamin D is also important for kidney patients, doctors often supplement it together with calcium mineral.

Kidney patients require high amounts of folic acid of about 800 mcg. Its supplementation is also highly recommended as it is essential in red blood cell development

Other vitamins should be taken in their recommended amounts.
